2. Data We Collect

We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together follows:

  • Identity Data: includes first name, last name, username or similar identifier.
  • Contact Data: includes billing address, delivery address, email address and telephone numbers.
  • Technical Data: includes internet protocol (IP) address, your login data, browser type and version, time zone setting and location, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform.
  • Usage Data: includes information about how you use our website, products and services.

3. Face Data Collection and Use

WHAT FACE DATA WE COLLECT

When you use our AI-powered virtual try-on feature, we collect facial images you voluntarily submit. From these images, we extract facial geometry data including:

  • Facial landmarks and feature positions (eyes, nose, mouth, jawline)
  • Face shape and proportions
  • Skin tone analysis
  • Hair characteristics visible in the photo

WHY WE COLLECT AND STORE FACE DATA

Face data is collected exclusively for the following purposes:

  • To provide AI-powered virtual hairstyle try-on services
  • To generate personalized Style DNA profiles with hairstyle recommendations
  • To match you with suitable hairstyles based on your facial structure
  • To enable you to visualize how different styles look on you before booking
  • To improve our try-on accuracy and user experience

SHARING FACE DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES

We share face data with the following third parties ONLY:

1. Google Cloud/Vertex AI (AI Processing Partner):
  • Why: To perform AI-powered facial analysis and generate try-on images
  • What they receive: Facial images and extracted features
  • Do they store it: Yes, temporarily during processing (less than 24 hours)
  • Their retention: Google processes images in real-time and does NOT retain your face data beyond processing. Per Google Cloud's data processing terms, customer data is not used to train their models.
2. Firebase Storage (Google):
  • Why: To securely store your uploaded photos
  • What they receive: Encrypted photo files
  • Do they store it: Yes, as our cloud storage provider
  • Their retention: Stored according to our retention policy (see above) until deletion

HOW LONG WE STORE FACE DATA

  • Your submitted photos: Stored until you delete them manually or delete your account
  • Extracted facial features: Stored for 90 days after photo upload for service improvement, then permanently deleted
  • Try-on generated images: Stored for 30 days, then automatically deleted (unless you save them to your profile)
  • When you delete your account, ALL face data is permanently deleted within 7 days

We store face data for these specific periods to balance service quality with privacy protection. Temporary storage allows us to improve AI accuracy and provide consistent results, while regular deletion ensures we only retain data as long as necessary.

4. How We Use Your Data

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:

  • Where we need to perform the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with you.
  • Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.
  • Where we need to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.

5. Data Security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know.

6. Data Retention

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
